Financing CCDIA's course in manufacturing and repair of musical instruments from Sep-2001 to Jan-2002.

The musical instrument course includes such fundamental subjects as Portuguese, Maths, Internet, Business Administration and Citizenship, as well as cultural field trips. The course will provide qualifications to 30 young people, aged 16-21, all of whom had previously only been educated only to primary level.

IDE - the Evangelical Development Institute is a Mato Grosso do Sul based organisation founded with the help of CCDIA.


IDE exists to help churches engaged in or wishing to start social development work. It currently provides practical support to CCDIA projects in Campo Grande.

 

KFUM-kameratene is an Oslo-based YMCA

CCDIA have strong links with KFUM-kamaratene.

Many teenagers from CCDIA projects have Norwegian penfriends through this organisation.

On two occasions KFUM has provided the means for Brazilian teenagers to make their first-ever trip abroad to play in the Norway Cup.

 

Latin Link are a UK-based Christian mission organisation operating throughout Latin America

Latin Link sent two teams of volunteers to help in CCDIA projects in the year 2000.

The teams came to help with some much needed renovation and construction work on projects in São Gonçalo and Campo Grande, and served to strengthen the teachers, the projects and the churches as much as they did the buildings!

Rock for Rio is the name for an annual series of rock concerts in Germany raising money for CCDIA.

Rock for Rio, the initiative of an individual supporter called Harry Braun, has been giving financial support to CCDIA since 1991.

The money received through the Rock for Rio events has been and continues to be a key enabling force for much of our work.
